Tamagoyaki (Japanese Omelet)

In college, when I was still living in the dorm, a bunch of us would gather in the crappy kitchen and cook together with whatever we could find.  My friend Henry, a cellist, taught me this dish on one of those nights and it’s stuck with me ever since.

ImageI just mixed four eggs, probably about two tablespoons of soy sauce, some sugar (I did a tablespoon but it depends on how sweet you want it), and a little water to loosen things up.

Watch the video of me making this to see how this awesome little roll is made!

ME! Watch me, I’m yummy!
